I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. I am honored to work with adults, teens, individuals and couples to assist with managing stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, adjustment to disability and all of the challenges that life brings us.  Also, I am a LGBT+ affirming therapist. Through compassionate and non-judgmental listening I will meet you where you are and together we will work to create positive and lasting changes in your life.

 

I am an Everyday Behavior Tools instructor who works with businesses and school systems to assist people with learning more effective ways of interacting with one another, as well as a BIPP instructor teaching coping skills, emotional and behavioral regulation in state mandated anger control and family violence classes.

 

On weekends you might find me onstage in community theaters or behind the scenes as a Board Member for the Runway Theatre in Grapevine.

I am passionate about the community’s mental health and believe in providing counseling services from a culturally sensitive perspective that recognizes individual stories and life experiences while incorporating evidence-based techniques. I aim to create a safe space where clients can feel seen and heard as they explore their mental health needs. I empower clients to set goals, process experiences, and emotions, and learn healthy coping skills that they can apply in their daily lives.

 

I specialize in helping individuals grow into their healthiest selves, primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy strategies, as well as other counseling frameworks to fit her clients’ needs.

 

My experience comes from counseling clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and various other mental illnesses. The goal in every therapy session is to provide a safe, judgment-free environment for clients to explore their vulnerabilities and barriers in achieving their goal of mental wellness. In my leisure time, some of the things I enjoy include listening to music, traveling, exercising, watching movies, and spending time with my loved ones.

I also work with couples who are experiencing disconnection,conflict management issues, infidelity, and loss of intimacy. 


In my downtime, I like to watch all kinds of tv shows and movies, listen to music, cook, and play video games. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family.  Part of my self-care routine involves disconnecting electronically speaking, curling up with a good book, or enjoying a solid nap.

In my downtime, you will most likely find me spending time with my wife and daughters or working on my honey-do list! My self-care routine consists of working out, running, or playing basketball. I also enjoy traveling and listening to music.
